The Régie du logement is a specialized tribunal that has competence in residential lease matters. Its mission consists in deciding the applications that have been submitted within the framework of simple rules of procedure that respect natural justice; in informing the citizens on their rights and obligations related to the lease so as to avoid that conflicts occur due to the ignorance of the law; in promoting conciliation between landlords and tenants.

The CAFE offers tools and activities to citizens enabling them to find solution to their indebtedness, better evaluate their consumption choices, acquire better habits in budget planning, reflect on consumer society, avoid traps and understand their situation from a new perspective, and to commit to the defense of their individual and collective rights / L’Association coopérative d’économie familiale (ACEF) du Sud-Ouest de Montréal est un organisme communautaire à but non lucratif qui travaille à la défense des droits des citoyennes et des citoyens dans le domaine de la consommation. L’ACEF propose des outils et des activités aux citoyennes et aux citoyens pour leur permettre: de trouver une solution à leur situation d’endettement; de mieux évaluer leurs choix de consommation; d’acquérir de meilleures habitudes en matière de planification budgétaire; de réfléchir sur la société de consommation, d’en éviter les pièges et de l’envisager sous un angle nouveau; de s’engager dans la défense de leurs droits individuels et collectifs.
