Ateliers beaux-arts (Fine Arts Workshops) is a not-for-profit organization run by visual arts teachers whose mission is to help children develop their own creativity all summer long. As such they organize two-week day camps during which artistic activities and outdoor games find an equal place in the daily schedule. The co-founders also offer various classes for adults such as painting, pottery, watercolour, and drawing in the fall and in the winter.

The Centre de culture Arabe de Verdun (CDCADV) is an independent, non-political and non-religious organisation. Founded in 2008, the center functions as chartable legal entity. CDCADV is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting Arab language and culture and enriching the lives of the Arab Canadian community. We achieve this by providing Arabic language training and by promoting culturally-focused and cross-cultural events open to all residents of the Verdun-Montréal Area and beyond. We draw upon our Arab Canadian heritage and traditions to guide us in this work.
The Chantefleurs choir was formed in September 2009 by Ms. Barbara Cwioro in the hopes of enabling singers of Nun’s Island to perform their vocal art in their community. Those not living on the island are of course welcome. No previous experience is required to enter the Chantefleurs choir, but, of course, it is an asset.
