The Ombudsman de Montréal offers to citizens who believe they are adversely affected by a decision, act or omission of Ville de Montréal, an easily accessible and free recourse. The Ombudsman may investigate a complaint and determine whether, in her opinion, the citizen has suffered a true prejudice. If such is the case, she will intervene with the City in order to have the decision changed or the situation rectified.
